Full Weekend

As weather warms and trees have exchanged their blossoms for new leaves, activities fill every weekend. People are anxious to get out and enjoy all there is. I am certainly one of those. Friday evening, my friend and I attended the high school production of “Les Miserables”. I’d previously seen it done professionally in San Francisco, so I was prepared to be disappointed. However, it was excellent and the male lead was incredible--what a voice! I was brought to tears. Saturday there was a matinee at the Cascade Theatre of the musical “The Great American Trailer Park Musical”. It was put on by Ashland’s Oregon Stage Works and it was very funny!

Later that night, I juggled two wonderful musical performances. First, I had dinner on the patio at C.R. Gibbs and listened to my friends of “Indigo Brew”. Later, I left and went to the “Post Office Saloon” to hear “Allison Scull and Victor Martin” play. How lucky am I?

Sunday, Chris had to work so he invited me there for brunch. Yum, delicious eggs benedict. He also gave me roses. I put them by a photo of my dear late mother.

Then, I headed out to the annual Mother’s Day Art and Crafts Fair in Old Shasta. I met up with my girlfriend and her daughter and ran into many people I knew.

Full fun weekend! Hoping you enjoyed yourself too.

thought of the day: "The nicest thing about the future is that it always starts tomorrow."
