Reading

You can take the teacher out of the school,
but you can't take the school out of the teacher.

When headed over to watch my nephew Billy
and his sister Emma, I quickly print out
some beginning reading books.

I love sharing the books with them.
We spend a lot of time reading them
over and over again.

Emma is beginning to learn to read.

Thought of the day: "If you can read this, thank a teacher!"

What a wonderful idea! I've dragged out all my boxes of books and put the ones I think my grandchildren will enjoy in a special bookcase in the guest room. Hopefully, they will enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed sharing them with my 4th graders. :D

Hi Claudia, I love it when I see kids reading. I have a 6 year old and she was picked to join a high flyer reading group at school. You know what encouraged her to read? Blogging! She can't wait to blog so that she can earn her own money.

Is there a free site to print out those books too?
