Theme: GlassThe theme this week is glass...but mine should be glass and trees. The fake tree at the Turtle Bay Museum (here in Redding, CA) is placed on a glass floor to demonstrate how tree roots grow. (Glass panels in the background have sheets of water running down).
The second group of pictures are of a building in Mount Shasta with a glass roof built around a tree. Fascinating to me, but I do not know the story behind it. 
Thought of the day: " Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder!"

That is one clever idea! We normally don't care what happens under the soil. So that is how those roots look like. Thanks for sharing..

hi thanks for visiting our Port elizabeth Daily Photo blog, and the suggestion re Photo Hunters. As we have been involved in 2 other fun groups (Skywatch Friday and ABC Wednesday) but found the reciprocal visiting a bit demanding as the groups grew, we probably won't commit to another right now. But I must say the creativity that I see and the interesting themes are cool. I had to laugh at your comment on "High" about the cigarette LOL. That is a stunning bridge.
