Amazing Local Youth Jazz Group !

On Sunday, January 4th, 20, Dave Short’s Jazz at Old City Hall presented “THE FLAT FIVE”, a jazz sextet (that’s right-six of them!) in concert at Redding’s Old City Hall.

This band featured the young tigers of the Redding jazz scene. They are high school and college students, their COMBINED age is less than the age of some of the regulars that perform in Redding! They are all serious jazz students of our fine local jazz pros, and really can burn up a stage.

Their performance was very professional and extremely well received by the audience. This speaks well of our local teachers.
