My favorite season, Autumn, will soon be ruined. Ruined by wind,
rain and freezing temperatures. Gone will be the clear blue skies,
the bright sunlight, the leaves of delicious colors of lime green,
lemon yellow, carmel brown and pomegranate red.

Soon bare branches will wait... in anticipation for new spring buds of rebirth.

I like your take on the theme: the anticipation of ruin! :-)

I love the textures of "ruined"! Here's mine:

Have a great weekend!

ruin looming...but tis in the eye of the beholder, I live ina subtropical climate where all that falls is sweat of faces and bodies into pools.
The orange leaves are so beautiful.

There may be some fear that all Nature's colour has been ruined, but winter offers a stark beauty that can be quite magical!

Love your shots, especially of the leaves!

If there are four seasons in my country, autumn would be a favorite too. I love autumn colors.

We've already been "ruined" this year. How it changes the feel of things!

Hi! Happy weekend to you.

Oh, I know what you fact when Fall turns to Winter, my whole days are 'ruined' until Spring. Of course, not any that I'm retired...but back in the days of yore, when I had to get up to go to work and the roads were icy and slick and the drivers are all maniacs....oh, sorry, I got on a tangent....

My Native American Sonoran Desert Ruin is posted...come join me, won't you?

Happy Hunting!

Ah, same here-- winter is just at the door, and all out colors are "ruined" already. Beautiful take on the theme.

I did Photo Hunt today, too. I hope you get a chance to visit and leave your link!

Have a great weekend!

Ah I know when we lived in Colorado I used to hate to see the leaves go so soon after the changed. Here is Florida it is perpetual summer.

Have a great weekend!
